Ionosphere observation products from GNSS receivers, Ionosonde, and VHF radar provided by ECSW software.
Ionospheric irregularities by ROTI index and Total Electron Content (TEC) maps
Ionogram (Quick look images) at Chumphon station (CPN)
Total Electron Content (TEC) by station
How to read this plot
- Top · VTEC
- Vertical TEC (TECU) from each satellite system; the black line is the median VTEC.
- Middle · ROTI
- ROTI (TECU/min); the dashed line marks 0.5 TECU/min.
- Bottom · Satellites
- Number of satellites by system (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, SBAS).
Bottom axis: Universal time (UTC). Top axis: local time (UTC+7).
Scintillation S4 index (L5, elevation ≥ 40°)
Ionospheric irregularities by ROTI Keogram
Ionospheric delay gradient at Bangkok station (KMIG)
The ionospheric delay gradient (mm/km) is the spatial rate of change in the ionospheric path delay. It represents how much the ionospheric error differs over a horizontal distance between the GNSS ground station and the aircraft (or user receiver).
